Someday these billionaires will learn that money does not omit oxygen, the ozone doesn't take bribes, there are no yachts in underground bunkers, and when there's nothing left to buy and the game of monopoly is over, their money really is just stacks of colored paper after all.
Seeking low-tox/zero-waste/sustainable living community that doesn't center patriarchy
My dream has always been to live in like a kibbutz in the woods with neighhbours who go to the farmer's market where we exchange homemade healthy and sustainable goods. Now as a university student in a city, this is still a pretty distant dream but I want to start gaining the knowledge, community, and experience to transition into full adulthood as a my Favourite Self easier so. Everyone is talking about AI and water waste. But could you ever think about how much water we humans waste? What if I tell you that you don't need to take showers in the morning? One shower per day is already enough, why would you waste water when you aren't dirty at all? It costs 200-400 litres and 1 to 3,5 kilowatts. It is too much and you definitely don't need to take 2 showers per day. Think about the environment.
Cute Packaging to Animal Cruelty- Wild Deodorant.
To start with, Wild Deodorant hardly works. Not only does it leave white stain on all your clothes and not just the black ones, half the scents crumble, it doesn't tackle what actually makes you smell. Sweat itself doesn't smell: the bacteria that break down the sweat smell. Wild Deodorant is not an antiperspirant and does nothing to change the pH or kill the bacterial enzymes on your skin, which is why the scent doesn't last 2 hours.
Early in 2025, Wild Deodorant was bought by Unilever: a company that not only has sold over 89 billion single use plastic sachets, but also has consistently delved into animal cruelty, after repeatedly promising "alternatives to animal testing", despite keeping chickens in tiny cages to harvest eggs as cheaply a possible.
Wild has used their aesthetically pleasing packaging to create a false sense of security in the morals of their brand. Their constant self praising of reusable cartriges is directly contrasted by them pushing a new deodorant case every month. In 2026 alone, 6 new deodorant cases have been released, as of May 15th.
Greenwashing is the new method brands use to appeal to a more eco friendly modern audience, but seldom do they live up to their claims. Brands such as Wild Deodorant have used cruelty free tags to push the idea of guilt free products for an extra cost while being owned by giant animal abusing corporations.

Aluminum Foil Packaging Market: Why This Everyday Material Is Shaping the Future of Sustainable Packaging
When people think about innovation in packaging, aluminum foil may not be the first thing that comes to mind. Yet this lightweight material is quietly becoming one of the most important solutions for industries focused on product protection, sustainability, and convenience.
According to recent market estimates, the global aluminum foil packaging market was valued at USD 51.62 billion in 2025. The market is projected to grow from USD 53.75 billion in 2026 to nearly USD 79.96 billion by 2035, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.47% during the forecast period.
So, what's driving this growth?
One of the biggest factors is the increasing demand for sustainable packaging solutions. Consumers are becoming more environmentally conscious and are paying closer attention to the materials used to package the products they buy. Aluminum foil stands out because it is highly recyclable and can be reused repeatedly without losing its quality. This makes it an attractive option for brands looking to reduce their environmental footprint.
The food and beverage industry continues to be a major contributor to market expansion. Aluminum foil helps preserve freshness, blocks moisture and light, extends shelf life, and protects products from contamination. From ready-to-eat meals and dairy products to snacks and beverages, manufacturers rely on foil packaging to maintain quality while meeting consumer expectations for convenience.
The pharmaceutical sector is another important growth engine. Medicines often require strict protection from oxygen, humidity, and external contaminants. Aluminum foil packaging provides an effective barrier that helps maintain product stability and safety throughout storage and transportation.
Innovation is also reshaping the industry. Companies are investing in advanced foil technologies, thinner yet stronger materials, and more eco-friendly production processes. As governments and businesses place greater emphasis on circular economy initiatives, packaging manufacturers are exploring ways to improve recyclability and reduce waste.
E-commerce growth is further influencing packaging requirements. Products shipped directly to consumers need reliable protection while remaining lightweight and cost-effective. Aluminum foil packaging offers both durability and efficiency, making it a practical choice across multiple industries.
While challenges such as fluctuating raw material prices and evolving environmental regulations remain, the long-term outlook for the aluminum foil packaging market remains positive.
Sometimes, the materials we use every day tell a bigger story about where industries are headed. In the case of aluminum foil packaging, that story is one of innovation, adaptability, and a growing commitment to sustainability.
As businesses seek packaging solutions that balance performance with environmental responsibility, aluminum foil continues to prove that even familiar materials can play a vital role in shaping the future.

i have such beef with ethical and eco-friendly companies. WHERE IS THE COLOUR 😭😭 why does being eco mean it all has to be beige???? make it fun please i beg i dont want to be beige.
Hey, guess what? There's no such thing as a true "sustainable source", because NOTHING is infinite and everything will turn into just a different way to steal from the Earth until it's empty and suffocated in man-made bullshit.
