* The Addison pulls off their shirt, revealing their upper body. Scars criss-cross it, a much lighter shade of lavendar compared to the ones adorning the edges of their face and feet. Unlike those, these will eventually heal.
* They begin from their left breast, right where the heart would be on a human. A circle of scar tissue is there, corresponding perfectly to the location of their Pseudosoul.
* All of this is ignored. They summon a pop-up, but rather than the usual advertisements, it is simple white text on a black background. It is code; sprawling and seemingly endless as they scroll through it, searching for the end.
* They enter a command, and a previously hidden (or rather, nonexistent) panel on their stomach reveals itself and pops up. They gently place it on the ground beside them, revealing a miniature garden of panels and wires and casing.
These are my internals. While they are exposed like this, they are the most physically vulnerable part of my body. Do not touch any of it. Or me, right now.
* They gesture to the pop-up.
This is my console. While I have it open, it is the most metaphysically vulnerable part of my body, and possibly even more than that. If my internals are damaged, I will die. If my console is damaged, I will...
* They frown.
There is no telling what will happen to me. In such a case, death would be a mercy. It is a direct link to my Pseudosoul, and in a way, it is a way to manipulate the will that originally gave me form. Do not ever touch it.
