The fact that the State of California has an official state tartan pattern which is widely sold (and looks really cool, I might add) on kilts and stuff by many Scottish traditional clothing sites but that they mostly sell it on non-waterproof acrylic wool is a missed opportunity and pretty bogus considering surfers.
Just imagine ripping through a massive tube while your water-resistant polyester California kilt is fluttering behind you. You're also shirtless, probably, because you're a surfer dude, probably named Brad. And ig some Scottish last name to make the whole kilt thing make sense. It would be pretty rad, I'm certain of it.
Somebody please invent surfer kilts. I'm poor.
