Oh im sooo happy and eager to start suptober23, I hadn’t completed the 22 one because I didn’t have time but maybe with 16 prompts I’ll get it all done? Fingers crossed

Did a redraw of a 2022 Suptober prompt (the bottom picture is 2022, top one is 2023) that I knew would require a lot of shading to try and see how long it would take me. Last year I fell behind on one day, and because I was trying to catch up, I really didn’t take care of my hand or my arm, resulting in injury. This year I will be using brushes and coloring techniques I already know to help mitigate that stress. I’m also going to stick with black, white, and some orange. And, due to another factor that I haven’t announced yet, I can’t make them super duper detailed, which will surely help! I hope some of these changes will ensure my arm and hand health. I also have grip tools for exercises, and I know better stretches now. I found myself straining a little bit while doing this practice piece, so I also have to remind myself to take it slow and steady and take care of myself!
