What is Inter Lineas? I’m glad you asked!
Inter Lineas is a surrealist mystery comic set in a small town recovering from nuclear disaster. It begins with the death of psychic doctor Sabine Leeren, drawing the attention of the secretive Mindwalkers agency. Her friend Talia Serrula suspects foul play. As she investigates, she’s pulled into a tense game with Agent Maudlin, a devious and cunning agent. Can she find the truth before he gets inside her head?
I started Inter Lineas in December 2024. It began as a short story but grew into something bigger over time: a comic! Despite workshops trying to reshape it for its themes, I stuck to my vision. The project haunted me until I returned to it, bringing skills from a past multimedia piece using HTML, video, and audio editing, all of which now fuel the comic’s interactive elements.
Each chapter (12 pages or less) drops once or twice a month and includes secret links to VHS logs, hidden docs, and lore. It’s all written, drawn, and voiced by me (and my archaic, more than likely possessed text-to-speech program from the 2010s)
More than a mystery, Inter Lineas has helped me face OCD, imposter syndrome, and shame. It’s about finding your people through the ultimate psychic power of being a weird little freak. If you’ve ever felt like a scared creature chasing something meaningful… this comic’s for you!
