03.02.2016 Got my new lens in from Amazon today and dying to test it out in a more natural light setting during the day. Paid a little bit more than what people usually pay for attachable lens for a smartphone. However, the way I look at it is that if I'm going to wait for a delivery package, I'm going to want the best (for a reasonable price of course). I paid like $15 more than the usual cost, not too bad?... Anyways, I took one shot and altered it through 2 smartphone photo editing apps (VSCO & Darkroom) to see how it turns out. VSCO has a FEW tools and advantages that Darkroom doesn't have which I kind of enjoy having now that I have my different lenses when I take pics. 1) Original pic - Super Wide Angle Lens Attachment only 2) VSCO - filtered the original pic through this app and changed a bit or the perspective angle of the shot. 3) Darkroom - filtered the VSCO filtered pic through this one to fix the lighting in the shot, along with the shadows as well.
