We're still buzzing with joy from the Boston Comics in Color Festival - one of sparc!’s favorite annual events! We hosted a family-friendly superhero mask-making workshop in which participants crafted unique masks using paint markers, gems, florals, feathers, and other supplies. People of all ages spent quality time bringing their character-masks to life. We loved seeing the intricate symbols, colorful patterns, fashioned hair, text, and elaborate backstories that everyone brought to their creations.

Happy spring everyone! My name is Alexander Polinsky

I'm the founder of the Avatarism movement, a cartoon voice actor and a spiritual entertainer. I speak about Avatarism, the open source game/philosophy of conscious character creation. Thank you to Andrew Keegan and everyone here at full circle for inviting me to speak again. It's an honor. Especially on this tasty and fertile holiday.

This is it!

This is spring

This is the rebirth

The reconnection  

The re-greening of dead spaces

This is life.

It's the season for action

It's the season for building

and creating

and its the season for planting seeds

This is the time.

So

if you ever thought.....that maybe

there was a time....

and that....it just might be the time

to do...the thing,

that you've been putting off,

Ya know...The thing.....that would make you feel wonderful

Powerful, healthy, magnetic, challanged

That thing that would help you experience your own inner light,

Expose that light,

Share that light,

Amplify your message,

Communicate your position to the ones that need to hear it,

Inspire you to speak words of love and acceptance to your inner child, motivate you to speak words of love to all the children around you,

and if you thought that spring

might be a good time

to significantly get into the great work of your life,

If you thought that spring might be the right time to

ban all words of self-doubt and self judgment,

If you've had a little buzzing hummingbird in your ear telling you that

maybe just maybe

you're a little scared of just how

powerful and magnetic and impactfull to the world

you really are...

then maybe spring is here to show you what's possible.

Spring says

It's time to do your thing.

It's a reconnection

it's a noticing

it's an observation

that things are moving

things are growing

and spring is asking:

Are you ready to take part in that?

Ready to have this change ?

Ready for what's possible?

Im ready to spring!

I'm ready to spring!

I'm ready to spring

I'm ready to spring!

Good!

Let's talk about blooming,

let's talk about blossoming,

let's talk about fruiting…

Because there is a blossoming happening here

a blooming

a proliferation of something really exciting and beautifully new

and it can't be denied.

We are making a new kind of connection

We are co-creating and fermenting

a new paradigm of self love, reverence and worship

It was inevitable that the old stories and the old rituals became meaningless

powerless and bloodless.

Even as they try to assert their old style dominance

trying to remind us of the painful stories to keep us scared

continue the holy wars to fill their pocktets

and spread nonsensical, judge mental doctrines that

separated us and taught us little.

But as we sit here

I can tell you

it is my opinion

that these old ideas are dying

They are dying in the light of reason

in the light of nature,

the Internet and plain good sense.

We are nature

we are infinite

we are natures expression of infinite possibility in infinite space

And so it is our duty

and our privilege

to begin to wake up

and start acting like we know it.

Wake up and stop the wars

wake up and be good stewards of the earth

wake up and be conservationists of this garden planet

wake up and show creation that we realize how rare and important we are.

Our DNA allows for unlimited joy along the way as we search for ourselves and it has always been so.

So don’t be scared..

Look at the flowers

smell the jasmine blooming

look at the sunflowers

pick some ripe fruit

and tell me nature isn't smiling.

My dog smiles all the time.

Specially when I have bacon.

Just for a moment close your eyes 

and breathe normally

and with each breath in

I want you to feel that deep and inherent pleasure of being alive

It's like an inward smile

that is always smiling

a flame that is always burning

A position of ultimate satisfaction

no matter what is happening

no matter the thought stream, the judgment cascade

or any pain or fear you are experiencing

Underneath it all

your DNA is programmed for pleasure,

bliss,  

nirvana is your default setting

Smile

Smile really big and increase your capacity to experience  bliss.

Keep breathing, keep smiling

And slowly open your eyes

Look around

We can be blooming  and blossoming anyway

and on any day

and for any reason

that we wish.

Appreciate even the smallest bit of nature and be enlightened

Nature illuminates

Nature activates

Nature terra-forms,

creates new ground,

generates the soil,

Creates possibility,

she gives birth to life

immense and green

she takes back urban spaces that have been forgotten

with a vengeance

she does battle with anything that says "I am permanence"

"I am unchangeable. "

Remember

Where there was only rock

she said  

Grand   Canyon

So when Nature says

“everything must change!”

it will. 

and to make it easy for us to understand

she makes it a dance of color and vibrance and beauty and seduction and raw power.

Nature is truth.

She is our body.

She is our mother and our spaceship.

And so this easter, Ishtar, or spring... may you find your true nature

as you see it

and use this season of growth

to renew your spirit

and make fertile ground

of your heart and mind.

And so it is.
