Since you seem to have successfully read tcf in addition to the webtoon (unlike me), could you let us know whether the ancient powers speaking to Cale is a novel-only thing, or if it just hasn't come up in the webtoon yet? It sounds super cool and I hope they still include it.

Yeah absolutely!!

So the ancient powers speaking to Cale so far is a novel-only thing, only because the webtoon hasn’t gotten to that point yet. There’s still a ways to go before the webtoon gets there, though to be fair I haven’t reread those chapters in a bit so it may be closer than I remember. (maybe @fanfiction-artist-prototype or @blueteller have a better idea how long until the webtoon gets to that point?) I do know there’s at least one event that has to happen before they start speaking, and even then it’s kind of a gradual shift from only speaking when he first acquires the powers to commenting at random as to whatever’s going on at the moment. I love Cale’s personal peanut gallery, I can’t wait until the webtoon gets there!
