Catching the sunrise on Mount Batur was absolutely worth the early hike. Watching the first light spread across the horizon, with layers of mountains and mist-covered valleys below, was mesmerizing. The gradual shift from deep blues to warm yellows and oranges felt like nature’s artwork, transforming the landscape minute by minute. Experiencing the calm of dawn from above the clouds is something special in Bali’s highlands. For this shot, I framed the scene to capture both the expansive view and the silhouettes of fellow hikers, adding depth and perspective.
