Cosmere Fight Bracket
Round 2 (part 4)
Szeth
Sigzil
I didn’t really hate The Sunlit Man, but I felt like the ending was a little against the themes and Nomad’s character arc. It pays lip service to him learning to heal and not be so alone anymore, yet the story ends with him continuing to run, this time totally alone? Such a bizarre way for him to end up. I’m not sure what the message is supposed to be at this stage…you can heal, but you’ll always be alone?
Aux: It's Pride Month, Nomad. You know what that means.
Nomad: ...do you want me to run from the Night Brigade gayly or something? Or only use gay Investiture for Skipping? Huh-
Please please please let Nomad be Sigzil
I know for a fact he's at the very least from Roshar

Honestly, fav cosmere siblings so far is Elegy and Rebeke. I love the tragedy of losing a sibling, but not at the same time.
The sister Rebeke knew died, and she struggles with letting that version go. In the end, she becomes the beacon her sister once was. Elegy is on a path to discover herself after having lost her own autonomy to the Cinder King. The way she learns self control and relearns human emotions was so interesting to read. These sisters relearning how to be a family again got me so emotional. I want more of them, but this book is the equivalent of a one-shot 😭
I JUST FINISHED SUNLIT MAN
