friends together

She’d set out to explore more of the islands, curious of what they might hold. Transportation getting there was a little bit of a pain, it was much too crowded for her taste, everyone excited to see what was new and out there. Which, she was as well, so it wasn’t as though she could fault them there. She just didn’t enjoy being lumped together on these tiny transporters.
Eventually she’d made it to the first city, Hana hadn’t encountered too many people so far. Once she got to the city, she thought there would be more. That didn’t seem to be the case though, not from what she had seen so far. It was almost too quiet for her taste. Although, if she was being honest there wasn’t much to be called a city here, only a few remnants of structure remained, mostly single walls.
As she rounded the corner of one of the walls, she spotted a familiar figure not far from her; it was the kid she knew from the arcade.. Gon was his name! Although she had no idea what he could be doing here, she didn’t have time to wonder as a solider was running straight towards him. Making a dash for it, she held up her gun to take the guy out and protect Gon. Much to her surprise, before she could even take the shot, the young boy had dodged the attempted strike on him and even counter-struck with his fishing rod. Even so, Hana ran up to the boy to make sure he was okay!
“Gon! Are you okay? What the heck are you doing out here! It’s dangerous!”
Only when she got close enough to see the street perpendicular to the one she was currently on did her hues catch on the neatly lined up unconscious bodies of soldiers that were strung across the street. Did... was Gon the cause of this? She couldn’t believe he had taken out so many, but she knew he was strong for his age. Maybe he didn’t need protecting after all, but she still wanted to stick close by just in case he got himself into trouble.
