Sweet potato π
January 2026
Slow Sundays are becoming a thing for me. Sometimes at the beach, sometimes at home, sometimes just wandering with no real plan.
Sai Kung on a Sunday afternoon has its own rhythmβeclectic market stalls, handmade bits and pieces, pet trinkets you didnβt know you needed, and quiet conversations floating through the air.
Somewhere between the walking and the browsing, I found myself holding a sweet potato. Simple. Grounding. Nourishing.
Rich in fibre, full of vitamins, good for gut health, energy, and balanceβexactly what my bodyβs been asking for lately. Surprisingly, this was my first food of 2026. And honestly? It felt right.
Hereβs to slowing down, eating with intention, and letting small, ordinary moments be enough.
