#sun bears

fun fact there's these silly little guys called sun bears and they're the smallest kind of bear in the world. they know how to wave hi and ask for food at zoos, but it doesn't mean they're super ultra friendly, as there have been cases of them getting surprised by people in the woods and attacking as their own defense. they're native to southeast asia (malaysia mainly iirc) and they can climb trees. they also have a long tongue like anteaters for eating honey, their snout is short and their ears are round and small (practically like a teddy bear lol especially the babies). they have a yellow/orange-ish mark on their chest that looks a bit like the sun setting or rising which is why they're called sun bears
