despite being in clothes that gave him a much more normal appearance, there was still an intimidating air that gotouda aki had about him. his hands in his pockets and the sneer on his face probably didn’t help his cause, but that was rather typical of the yakuza thoroughbred. his foot tapped impatiently as he peered around, searching for his tall boyfriend among the crowd. he might have arrived at where they were going to meet a little bit early, as he often did when they planned dates. eyes dart around until finally he spots him, and immediately his whole face lights up and his arms go waving in the air.

feardinand’s most prominent and pervasive fear is the fear of achieving nothing,   of being purposeless and ultimately lost to history.   this has absolutely everything to do with how he was raised,   given the lofty expectations of being the only heir to a family with an immemorial legacy of heroes and achievers.

when edelgard dismisses his father and strips his house,   that is basically a manifestation of ferdinand’s biggest fear:   losing his purpose.   he even says that he knows his father deserved what he got,  and ferdinand himself plans on arresting his father the moment he graduates and becomes prime minister;   so what really chafes is that  edelgard  did it when ferdinand always saw unseating his father,   rectifying his mistakes,   and being a better prime minister as his  “dream,   will,   and future.”   this is devastating to him.   he canonically  didn’t cut his hair for five years  because he was so stressed and busy,   and in my opinion depressed.   in crimson flower,   he threw himself into war.   in every other route,   he wandered alone for five years straight.

1  )  When did you create your muse?

            well  ,  a lot of them are pretty new and made on the fly . . . my oldest muse  (  laurie  )  has been around since i was 12  ,  my newest  (  kasen kanesada  )  was just added today  .  it’s hard to say WHEN  ,  but this blog existed like . . . several years ago and underwent a lot of remaking and revamping when i brought it back last year  .

2  )  Where did you find inspiration for your muse?

            anime  ,  manga  ,  music lyrics  ,  everyday life  ,  youtube  ,  social media  ,  things i see when i’m out and about . . . sudden inspirations  .  i get inspired easily and there’s PLENTY of muses i have knocking about my head but none of them make it to the blog because i don’t have a proper faceclaim for them or it’s just a muse i couldn’t vibe with after thinking about it for a while  .

3  )  Tell us something about the world/universe in which your muse lives.

            sumire’s world is filled with things she can never fathom to happen in real life  .  as a woman of science  ,  the idea of TIME TRAVEL and bringing inanimate objects to life is simply out of the world . . . but here she is  ,  bringing swords to life and sending them back in time to prevent changes in history  .  her life is MOSTLY peaceful as she is sheltered within the citadel  ,  heavily guarded by apt warriors  ,  but she knows that it’s far more chaotic than people see  .

4  )  What’s your favourite headcanon about your muse?

            mado akira is a collector of souvenirs and gifts . . . while she seems very ALOOF and unfriendly  ,  she treasures everything that’s given to her  .  having lost her parents so easily  ,  she learned to appreciate the smallest of items because she never knows when and if she’ll ever meet her teammates again or when they meet  ,  it’d be the last time they meet  .  

5  )  What’s something only very few people know about your muse?

            nemu was brainwashed by the party of words to work under them  ,  however  ,  she does have flashbacks of her past and has memories that sometimes return and persist beyond the brainwashing  ;  it confuses her and gives her a headache when it happens  .  she isn’t quite sure what the TRIGGERS are  ,  all she knows is she sees things but is afraid to bring it up . . . 

6  )  Are there parts of your muse that resemble parts of yourself?

            almost all of my original characters have a small part of them that resembles me or i vibe with or relate to . . . a lot of the canon characters i’ve picked up are ones i felt close to or felt as if i could relate or they resembled me  /  my thoughts in a way  .  so most definitely  !!
