#summer trip

Time to be hot and gay.

In more than one way.

Drove up almost 2 hours to the beach, and I'm sooo glad we didn't go to the closer one because it is not as nice and this one was so beautifullll! The sky was super clear whenever we got there and we had mostly direct 21° sunlight for almost 5 hours! It was so sandy too! None of this rocky beach I'm used to here. The water was a lot saltier than I ever remembered it to be, but I got 2 seconds of a swim in and with how cold the water was it's the best that I could've gotten 😂. Spent most of the day there reading, although I didn't finish my book like I thought I might. K and I took turns burying each other in the sand and I gave her a mermaid tail; she made me into a 5 tentacled squid 🐙.

We brought our own lunch and somehow had more than enough food to last us there. In the end I tried to go into every filling station we could to gather some pads because I didn't want to risk my shorts getting any more bloody (still have to clean them and I reallyy hope the blood goes away cos those shorts are so cutee) 😔 and well her period started a week early :/ The first 2 stations I missed tho, the third didn't have a bathroom and the fourth was literally ONLY a filing station with nothing around so.. took us a while haha. Felt like a fever dream whenver we were going back.. The drive felt long but the scenery was very nice at least. Really glad we decided to plan this just 2 days earlier and not compromise on other destinations. Even my mum was saying afterwards how she's glad we went ^^ and we really almost didn't because she didn't want us to go so far, and in particular for me to drive there.
