Friday Five
Summer Friday! First of four. Feeling pretty dang smug.
Picked up dress I had hemmed, got us some treats from the bakery and a nice bottle of red from the wine shop next door.
Weather is whackadoo. Smelled like rain this morning but no evidence of it. Certainly looked like it was about to rain — sky over the ocean was ominous. Lady at the dry cleaner said that where she lives — about 10-15 miles southeast of us — it DUMPED last night. Lots of lightning, too. Of course, none of that reflected on the radar on the weather app.
Fairly certain that I’m not going to read our book group selection this go round. Reserved it, library had copies available but have yet to receive notification that my hold is ready. Oh, well.
Bought some tee shirts — Gap Factory having a crazy sale — and used my birthday gift certificate on some jeans and a top from Nordie’s Rack. Once everything arrives I shall do another bureau/closet purge. There’s a non profit called Out Of The Closet that I’ll donate to this time.
