A bit of fun while doing a major garage excavation for un-fun reasons: I found some old Alien 1979/Aliens 1986 memorabilia. Enjoy:
Original Starlog and Future magazines from shortly after Alien 1979 came out. And a copy of the Alien script "by Walter Hill and David Giler, based on screenplay by Dan O'Bannon." (I believe that if Giler and Hill had access to G-AI back then they'd totally have had ChatGPT write for them.)
The Aliens "official movie magazine." I particularly enjoy this tidbit from an interview w Sigourney where she said she didn't think there would be any more films after Aliens. 😂
A 1990 Dark Horse comics 'zine promoting the Aliens:Earth War series, using panels COMPLETELY out of context to suggest "Alien Wrestling!" and the new Alien basketball team admitted to the NBA for '91!
And finally a collection of MicroMachine miniatures featuring Big Chap and Kane (complete with Facehugger!) Each is articulated and they even got Big Chap's translucent head-dome correct!
And when I say "miniature," I mean MINIATURE:
Finally found some time to do some new poster art! Check out TOUGH HOMBRES - one of my new posters I created for the HERO COMPLEX GALLERY's Cribs show. It's a tribute to the Motley Crew of the U.S.S. Sulaco - before their ill fated trip to LV-426. Prints available HERE
One year ago today I posted this miniature Aliens creation…
All shot practically except stars which I had to add in digitally cause my glitter paper isnt big enough.
