Inktober 2020 Day 14 Armor

By the way, i must say, i'm quite struggling for about 4 or 5 days now : it's slowly becoming a shore. My insomnia doesn't help either. So, I'm thinking about stopping the challenge. I will probably wait 1 or 2 days to see if the situation imrpoves but if not, i think i'll leave it there. I think it's better than doing shit till the rest of the month...

Loveseat- Describe your ideal house
Okay, so, let's start off with the fact that my dad built houses so I am ridiculously fucking picky! Ideally it would be older construction, like, 1985 is probably the latest I would trust, because while you can get quality construction in newer homes, generally you're going to be paying at least 30% more, and you don't get that in older homes. I love Craftsman-style houses, so I'm gonna say that one, preferably from between 1920-1940 with updates so the electricals and plumbing are modern. Gas stove and gas heat! At least one fireplace. I love decorative ceilings, exposed wood, and exposed brick. Tray ceilings and the slant roof ceilings are good too. Hardwood floors are ideal, preferably the originals that were built with the house. For the bathrooms I love a matte finish big tile. I want either a sunroom with a ton of windows or a screened porch and a big fenced backyard with a fire pit. Three bedrooms, ideally, so I have room to have people over whenever I want, but I can also keep crafting shit in them and my workout and PT gear. Two would be fine too if there was a formal living or dining room I could turn into a crafting space - I want to start making soap again and I want to learn to sew. Also like. I need a space to shove all my bookshelves so a crafting room slash library would be ideal. At least one full and one half bath, but ideally two full baths. Most of my furniture is dark wood so dark wood floors would be ideal, and I can put colorful rugs under them. I like light walls for the most part - light blue, sage green, light purple, peachy-gold.
I have thought a lot about this so I hope you were prepared to hear it all, lol.
Bath bomb - What is the best form of self care?
Reaching out to my friends. I can do all the solo self care in the world, but I find it really hard to self regulate without talking shit out, because often I have no idea what is actually the matter until I use another person as a sounding board. Failing that, taking my dog on a walk or taking a bath while listening to an audiobook or podfic.
Brown Sugar - What is making your heart warm today?
My dog. He's a little old man and a snuggle bunny. He's laying down next to me and every time I get up to do something he lifts his head to watch me, and if I leave the room he gets up and follows me. He does this regularly but I love it every time.
