UTAHIME SHOOK HER HEAD. A soft laugh escapes her lips, she's standing across from him, her jeans were covered and coated in flower from dusting them off one too many times. She invited him to come over for the evening, to take some time off to actually relax for once instead of stressing over... everything.
"Far from it." She says, lips tugging into a half smile. The conversation had drifted into something more somber maybe because she had drank a little too much but it didn't seem to matter now, it was too late to shift the topic and she had been wondering what made him come back to something where it living to see your hair turn grey was rare.
Her hand reached out to dust some of the white powder off he managed to get on his clothes and handed him the baking pan that had fresh unbaked cookies neatly lined up. "You're learning, that's all that matters."
She could've been talking about one of two things; the fact she was teaching him how to make cookies or the fact he dropped his normal life for this hellscape where curses tore apart nearly everything and everyone, maybe it was both.
"I meanβwhen's the last time you've sat down and really took the time to relax?" She asks, opening the oven, taking the pan from him and sliding it in before closing it. The teacher reaches for her phone and sets a timer, 15 minutes should be fine, plenty of time to spend this time to get lost in conversation and whatever else he wanted advice on or something to talk about.
