— BLINKIE SET #4 . . . PRONE
Do you ever just. Go on walks even though it's a little difficult? I'm very hypermobile currently recovering from two injuries but it looked nice outside so I just went on a little stroll anyway. I'll probably be sore later but it was worth it to not be cooped up inside all day, you know?
And it's not one of those "don't let disability hold you back" things, I think it's more of a "this hurts but I'm doing it out of spite because I want to" situation lol
Anyways I saw the ducks at the pond and I saw some very cute grandparents with their kids so I do not regret my decision :)
having chronic pain is like sometimes i’m dissociating from every feeling in my body because i have to ignore my limbs to cope and sometimes im so hyperaware that i can tell the exact amount of degrees my shoulder is hyperextended
I kinda want to play fight/wrestle with someone, but I know my hip will probably pop out once or twice.
But like, I’m still down…

I fucking hate my body sometimes. ESPECIALLY my joints. Like what do you mean I have to wake up multiple times a night to have to put my clavicle and shoulders AND hips back where they’re supposed to be???? Why am I a shitty off brand Lego thing that won’t stay together?????? I hate it so much. I just want to not hurt and for my body to work right but apparently that’s just too much to ask :(
sometimes my internalized ableism beats my ass but then I remember that I literally got a permanent spinal injury and a shoulder subluxation from sleeping wrong
Content warning for injury. Below are two variants of a symbol for "sublux"/"subluxation".
Sublux (variant 1): two bones at an odd angle to one another with a red arrow pointing from where the bone on the top was to where it is now.
Sublux (variant 2): a pair of bones making a ball-and-socket joint, the ball joint is slightly out of place and a red arrow points from where the ball joint was to where it is now.
