Also I think Kenny would be the last to figure out that they're dating, even after they have all slept together. Kenny would watch Stan and Kyle be affectionate with each other and be like "Aw, I'm happy they're together now. I guess my work here is done," just assuming that he's not part of that arrangement because he's not one of the super best boyfriends. Sure, he's a little disappointed, but he never expected anything more.
And then when Stan/Kyle start being affectionate with Kenny too he's like ??? and is confused and flustered and bashful. Stan and Kyle think it's hilarious and very sweet, and of course reassure him that he's an equal part of it, but it still takes Kenny a while to not be shocked every time they kiss him on the cheek or whatever.

so when stan and kyle realize/find out (likely happens when they invite kenny out with them on a date and he’s like “oh I don’t wanna intrude” and they’re like tf you mean) they make it very special for him. I’m talking cooking him dinner, cuddling on the couch while watching movies, and then each of them taking one of Kenny’s hands and taking him to bed :’)
I also LOVE kenny who comes off as confident in general and is just a Fun Guy but when it comes down to the real shit he is definitely bashful and has a hard time believing just how much he’s loved, and that’s exactly why stan and kyle must reassure and remind him 🥹
