Okay so I started shipping them mostly 'cause of Space Groove where Samira is Lux's bodyguard.

In Samira's skin bio it says, "Now, as the pair liberate planets across the galaxy, Samira must do everything in her power to keep Lux safe—both from Lissandra and from Lux's own lack of self preservation instincts." So their dynamic is a pair of thrillseeking party animals letting loose and having fun together.

But Lux still wories about home, she doesn't want Garen or her auntie to come chasing after her, so she wrangles Samira into pretending she's her fiance so Lux has to travel across the galaxy with her, it's only right.

Samira does tell her that they could just stick with the bodyguard story since that's, ya know, the truth, but Lux says it's so her auntie will be happy with the practically of a bodyguard and Garen will be too sentimental over his little sister getting married to stop her leaving.

Yes, as you can tell already, I really love Chris. I completely fell in love with how nice and kind and compassionate he is. Of course the fact that he's super hot and dreamy is a really nice bonus! ;)

And yes, I don't know if you've read my profile, but it's just in my personality to analyze things, even subconsciously so. And the more I analyze Chris's characterizations and writings, the more I love him. He's just a genuinely good character.

Also, I think we can both agree that Chris has become a popular target to ridicule in fanon. There are some widespread false stereotypes about him, because of his looks. And the fact that he's a straightforwardly good character is a double-edged sword, because many people say it's boring. Being good is never boring to me.

Because I love him so much, it's upsetting to see him get such unfair treatments in fanon. That's what motivates me to do what I do in this blog in the first place, to talk about how good a character he is and that he definitely deserves more love around here.
