1: What’s something other characters will notice first about your character?
Appearance wise speaking, they do recognize her as a doll-like beauty immediately. Silk hair, porcelain skin, elegant posture. Her looks do draw attention. Some people find her bright honey-colored eyes to be especially outstanding. They also notice her habit of playing with her fingers, moving them around slowly, turning and looking at them focused.
When interacting with her or talking to her, depending on how well they know each other already, people do tend to take in a weird atmosphere from her. She does seem a little intimidating to strangers or people she’s never talked to before. She’s calm and cold to an extent that is almost creepy to some.
People who know her better than that though are very well aware of how much of a warm and caring person she really is. It’s a difference from day to night whether she’s business talking to strangers or having a chat with a friend.
2: What’s your character’s aesthetic (things associated with your character)?
I created an instagram for her aesthetic.
The dark pale aesthetic. Dark and rich colors. Mostly black, blood red and forest green. But also the color gold. Lipstick. Wearing rings. Ankle boots. Leather skinny jeans and jackets. Winter. Snow and a starless nightsky. Sunrises through a thick fog. A strong scent of flowers. Knives. A landscape view of a city from a high level building. Sparks of fire. A dog’s growl. Comforting silence. Dark forests. Going for a walk in the late evenings. A room that is always clean. Taking a warm bath.
12: Does your character have any addictions, allergies, diseases, illnesses, disorders, or disabilities? How does this affect their life?
She does have a past with drugs and was formerly having a bad habit of consuming whichever party drugs she could have access to. A near death experience due to this had her being taken into therapy. This was during her late teenage years, after graduating from school.
I’m not sure whether you can call it a mental health issue, but she does have pessimistic tendencies which has her drown in almost nihilistic thoughts from time to time. This does affect her life a lot, because there’s days in which she refuses to do anything and completely isolates herself.
The reason why I didn’t really have her suffer from any illnesses, wasn’t because I wanted her to be a Mary Sue, flawless and everything. I just don’t feel comfortable enough. More to say, I don’t think I’m in the position to create an OC that suffers from things I myself couldn’t ever comprehend like people who are really affected by it. It seemed disrespectful.
