its a series about girls in a performing arts school that put on plays and stuff. the anime debuted sometime last year.

it’s the revisited flavor of the month because the mobile game got localized a little over a week ago, but since it wasn’t just more idoltrash tap-tap rhythm bullshit, it actually caught on.

however, in between all the Antics that come up, there’s actually proper characterization involved with the cast and there’s action scenes that happen where the cast gets into stage combat sequences.

the actual combat sequences are very good because they focus less on the combat and more on the moment with the involved characters, they’re all there for the sake of building up the featured characters rather than just so there’s a cool fight scene.

it’s very human.

i’m nine episodes in out of twelve. i can update my review from "watch review starlight" to “WATCH REVIEW STARLIGHT” considering recent events.

anyway, my last piece of advice is that maya is the black knight. do not take her lightly.
