“the mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.”
- Plutarch
I always remind myself if I wasn’t me I would want the things I have now.
morning study and coffee, 30.04 THUR
made it into the city without a hitch this morning so i treated myself to a coffee at a shop i havent been to in a while (maybe even a year!) becaus ei had the time this morning.
also using the kindle for my readings/research has been a game changer! i dont use it to actually read any books, so its a good way to use it after the last couple years of it collecting dust (i didnt know you could send-to-kindle…)
5.2.2026—it’s less stressful if you make your planner cute 🥰

As a student, i know that there are times where life won't go easy on me. And that time is now. Something that partially cures this overwhelming sensation is making lists. Organization overall is key to surviving moments of intense pressure.
So here's my to do list:
write drafts of cover letters for uni applications
Do my history homework
Write a science assignment and send it
Write two articles for my journalism club
read a 70 page book for spanish class
learn for a politics test
learn for a history test
apply for unniversities
catch up on my philosophy and econ classes
Start writing my mini-memoir in spanish
Go over my course about "the living"
Attend a zoom call for a potential scholarship (this scares me so much)
i think that if i get to it, I can do all this in two or three days. At least this helped me visualize more clearly my goals and motivate myself. I wasn't able to post for the 100 days of productivity lately but i don't regret taking a break. I'll come back tomorrow though!

11/03/25 22/100 days of productivity
Break is almost ending, but it is only recently that I started actually feeling it. Here are the things I did today to recharge:
Currently reading the book "The Secret Garden" by Frances Burnett
Wrote a chapter on my ongoing story that I haven't continued for about five months now due to uni
Curated a list of novels and philosophy books that I plan to read in the future.
I came across this concept called "personal curricula" wherein you choose a specific topic to learn and create a list of materials that will help you learn it. It sounds very interesting so I will attempt to do it. Currently, I am interested in learning about Soren Kierkegaard's philosophy. Also, I would like to start a commonplace journal so I purchased a ruled notebook. I'm very excited to learn new things and get into the habit of journaling again.
