Had a lovely day in studio yesterday recording the final song for my upcoming album.🎙🎸🥁💿The song is called “Ghost,” 👻 and you might recognize it from my livestreams. It is the most intimate production-wise of all the songs on the album: just a single vocal, one acoustic guitar and viola 🎻played beautifully by Lee Rose of @aceofwandsband and @dogoodassassins 🤟🏻💜 It was challenging to nail the guitar track, as I’m so used to playing it while singing and not by itself. But my excellent producers Joel Wasson (of the @the_discardedband) and @thejunoawards winner John Critchley coached me through it as always. Status: Currently recovering from handing in the edited version of the new novel. It’s amazing how depleted you become after pouring heart, soul, mind, and body into every word.
