Banana Peels: Save your banana peels to compost! They can be chopped up and placed into plant soil as natural fertilizer. It releases nutrients into the soil to feed plants. Banana peels are rich in potassium and magnesium which adds to stronger stem and plant root growth.

Eggshells: Crush up your eggshells after you have hard boiled your eggs or fried your eggs sunny side up. The eggshells can provide all the calcium carbonite that the soil needs which help bolster the nutrients for healthy plants. Also, it will improve airflow and drainage in compacted soil.
