Screaming crying throwing up—WHY oh WHY, do people sign up to be mentor teachers for student-teachers if they DON'T want to actually help said student-teacher plan or know anything more than five days in advance after ghosting said student teacher the entire summer, so instead, they want to plan when said student teacher is packing up a whole-ass house....and literally moving, and won't text, and will only email??
Like??? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. What's worse is that I told this woman my schedule. I told her what I had going on and that if there was anything in the first few days of school that she wanted me to do, I would be happy to prep it earlier. And now she wants me to come to the school in non-contracted hours??? BEFORE 7:00 AM. To plan??? Because she doesn't want to communicate with me? And I live an hour away from the school? Like, ma'am, there's a reason teachers don't stay teachers. Thank you for reaffirming my horrible life decision, truly.
