Max wasn't even a thing in Beyond so his existence is more funny than anything else but him being a reverse Red and taking all her pain but Red knows Maddox in the old timeline while she's healing from her own parental trauma I think with this as a base for Red and Max make for great stories when shipping them.

Given the actors of Luis and Max ship StrongHats Im just adding them Im sure once the film drops next week we will see why it's a pare by them,but trope wise Alt boy x jock himbo it's cute to me.

StrongHearts is really cute to me just mostly cause Red doesn't want to open up still given what she's been through she just warmed up to the idea of a friend so her opening up to a dating dynamic has her scared given Beyond The Isle trauma Red has and Rise Of Red Trauma and she doesn't wanna put someone else through that.

Luis being from Encanto I think works super well in contrast with a Wonderland theme character Luis grew up with a massive family who has by the time he was born navigated healthy family dynamics after a generational trauma bond but outside that he lived in a tiny community that treated each other like family no matter what sticking together,In contrast Red grew up under a dictatorship both government living wise and in a family dynamic one so Red never experienced healthy relationship dynamics. So Luis with everything still loving Red and will go to the ends of Wonderland with her despite all of Red's baggage he still cares deeply for her.

Outside of this when Rise Of Red first aired on Disney Channel Encanto played before Rise Of Red and just like last time Encanto will air before Wicked Wonderland so Luis was joined at the hip with Red without us the audience even thinking this.
