Why don’t you ship it? i feel like they’d be too confused by each other’s behavior to even consider kissing /lh like, especially prome- poor little man has no idea that morally gray people exist and suddenly there’s that guy.. :) meanwhile stead is trying very hard to make him his pawn but it usually ends in disaster (bbq edition) and he’s one disappointment away from considering him a lost cause /hj

What would have made you like it? throw millard into the pot (yes, we’re going with the soup allegory here because their ship name DOES sound like that) to stop them both from being a danger to themselves and the people around them, then we’re gucci <3

Dylan Strome imagine (college) !!

You came home from school to find Dylan in your dorm room sitting on your bed.

“Hey Dyl, everything alright?” You sat down next to him.

“Uh, yeah of course” he seemed distracted.

“Don’t you have practice?” You were really worried because he has already missed 3 practices this week and it was Friday.

He just stood up and started pacing. Running his hands through his hands and sweating like crazy.

“Dylan, seriously you can tell me anything, what’s wrong?” You grabbed him and hugged him. He is never like this you thought.

“I actually got to go, I’m going to practice after all.” And just like that he grabbed his bag and ran out.

Dylan was never anxious or antsy, especially when it comes to hockey.

You decided to follow him to the rink and watch practice.

Everything seemed normal when they all stepped into the ice but after about 20 minutes something was off.

All you heard was laughing and Dylan didn’t seem too happy.

“Look your girlfriend is here, wow surprised she would ever date a loser like you.” The 3 boys started laughing and then when Dylan didn’t respond they pushed him.

Next thing you know a fight broke out and the coaches skated over to stop it.

“Hey, break it up” they yelled but the punches just got harder.

Dylan was the first one off the ice and left to the locker room with you following him.

As soon as you got in there you ran up to him and grabbed his face.

“What was all that? Are you okay? How long has this been going on? Is this why you didn’t go to practice?” You could tell he was angry, sad and overwhelmed all in one.

“I’m fine, I just want to go home.” He put his head down and started taking off his gear. That was your que to leave.

After 10 minutes he came out, blood still dripping down his face.

“Please talk to me” you grabbed his hand.

“Fine, but not here.” You guys drove back to your place to talk.

~ 2 years later ~

Dylan Strome had been traded to the Chicago Blackhawks and tonight was his first game with them against the Stars.

You drove with him to the arena and wished him good luck before he went with Alex Debrincat into the locker room.

The game went on with the hawks winning 2-0 end of 1st.

During 2nd period Strome got an amazing pass from Kane and it lead to a breakaway.

“Go Dyl Dyl” yelling his nick name so he would know it was you.

Next thing you know he shoots the puck and it goes right past the goalie, the crowd goes wild. Everyone on their feet yelling and clapping including you.

After the game, you waited for them to shower, change and talk to the press. You were watching it from the tv outside.

“How was playing for your favorite NHL team” the reported put the mic in Dylan’s face.

A huge smile grew across his face, “I’m... having fun again, playing hockey.” (gif)
