Stromato and Stromatalot, together. These Rock-type are some of the oldest pokemon and lived among some of the earliest life-forms on earth. The visible pokemon are actually just rock formations. The true Stromato and Stromatalot are microscopic, single-celled pokemon, millions of which build and live on these rock bubble-shapes which are easily identifyable because they appear to have eyes. Stromato evolves when the colony of microscopic pokemon grows too large and reorganizes itself into a new rock formation in one of the earliest known forms of pokemon evolution.
When Stromato grows too big, it reorganizes itself into Stromatalot, in one of the earliest examples of Pokemon Evolution.

The visible form of Stromato is a rock formation, held together by millions of microscopic pokemon. Stromato is one of the oldest pokemon and is beleived to have lived among the earliest life-forms on earth in the Cambrian Period and maybe even earlier.
