A Piazza Navona több okból is egyik kedvencem lett. Egyrészről itt jóval kevesebb volt a turista, mint a Trevi-kútnál, vagy a Forum Romanum körül, másrészről legalább annyira beleszerettem a teret középen uraló Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, azaz a Négy folyó kútjába, mint az előbb említett testvérébe.. Bernini alkotása a négy világrész legnagyobb folyóit jelképezi: 💧Gangesz - Ázsia 💧Nílus - Afrika 💧Duna - Európa 💧Rio de la Pata - Amerika Mindegyiknél a növény- és állatmotívumok is az adott térségről árulkodnak, nekem mégis kedvenceim az istenalakok, egészen pontosan a hozzá költött mesék. Ugyanis közvetlen a szökőkút szomszédságában áll a Sant’Agnese in Agone templom, melynek homlokzatát Bernini vetélytársa, Borromini tervezett. After almost 5 months (last time I was in the office was morning of Mar 10th), I went to the office today to pick something upfrom HR. It is also the first day of #MECQ (again). This is the first time in a while that I have gone farther than Market Market. (Since Mar 13th, hanggang Market Market, SM Aura, and my side of Makati lang ako LOL). Was surprised though that I was not stopped and questioned at the BGC checkpoint. (Why? May mga sundalo naman that were chilling over there. Or baka mga may sasakyan lang chine-check, hindi pedestrians. But then again, why? I thought they should be checking IDs and/or quarantine passes since they are required again. Anyway...) Definitely missed my area of work, but at the same time, was sad about how lifeless it looked.
