It had come as an absolute shock to hear about the accident. To hear about Tomura having suffered a head injury so bad that he had gotten amnesia. It had shook Dabi to his very core and he had been unable to do anything, but simply stand before the doctor for several minutes as he had hyperventilated due to the intense emotions that had appeared at hearing how sever it was. How his lover couldn’t remember the last three years of his life. How Tomura couldn’t remember... them. None of the time they had spend together. None of it. It was as if he had never existed, as if--- Dabi couldn’t think about that now, couldn’t. He had to get to Tomura. Because despite all of this, his feelings, his comfort, wasn’t what came first and it never would be, not when Tomura’s were there. Especially, not after hearing that his lover had already suffered a panic attack due to the doctor explaining everything.

Hurrying to the room, words danced from his lips automatically as he went over. Though, upon seeing how those familiar eyes gazed at him as if he was a complete stranger, a pain, unlike any other, flared through his chest and made slender legs briefly halt. It felt as if a thousand needles was being plunged into the organ within his chest and torn right out, only to repeat the action again.

Having already heard from the doctor how to approach this, Dabi forced on a smile as he calmly requested Tomura to follow him before heading for the packing lot. However, hearing the question, after a good two minutes of walking, Dabi halted and turned to gaze at the male. Seeing the scratching, the old habit that Tomura had mentioned, that he has seen in certain moments, a hand almost reached out to stop it, only for Dabi to stop himself, for.. he wasn’t allowed to do that. For right now, he is nothing, but a stranger and god, that hurt more than he thought it would, to know that. That question, however, hurt even more and the midnight-haired male had to hold back the pain, the painful feeling within from showing.
