#stream schedule

Twitch's SUBtember is coming up (probably near the 28th), plan ahead if you want to benefit. And assuming there's a self paid sub discount, not just some freakshow "35% of 5+ gifted" or something awful... it may be wise to hold off on subbing to take advantage.

Every big streamer started with zero viewers, zero subscribers, and a dream. Don't let small numbers make you quit, let them motivate you to get better every stream. Be yourself, stay consistent, and treat every viewer like they're important, because one person can become your biggest supporter. I'm Stream Team, and I'm helping streamer who wants to grow bigger and I'm building a community. There will be slow days and tough moments, but every stream is another chance to improve. Keep grinding, keep learning, and never stop believing in yourself. Your biggest breakthrough could be one stream away.

The Chaos Donothon continues, and we're getting super close to Act 2 in BG3! Also, I've got some good news and some bad news. Good news: I recently applied for and got accepted into University of Chicago's editing certificate program, and should be starting my first class at the end of this month! The bad news is: if the Donothon is still going by then, there won't be any streams on Thursdays because I'll have class, and might need to scale back streaming to closer to my usual streaming schedule so I have time to get my course work done. Once I'm fully back to my normal 12 hours of streaming a week (as opposed to the, like...25-30 I've been doing while playing BG3) it shouldn't affect anything. :3

Schedule for the week, I'm so excited! ALL TIMES IN EST! Tuesday, August 11, 2PM: We start Buddy Simulator 1984 (thank you @kingdomfrozencrossing for the gift!) I'm not positive we'll be able to complete it in one stream, but we will continue any unfinished games next week on the same days. It's a... potentially spooky game about some retro software. I will, as with many things, be playing it blind! Wednesday, August 12, 11AM with short break at 11:30 AM: What's going on with this day? A scheduled break? Starting much earlier? Multiple games? Well! That's because it's my borthdoy and a solar eclipse! The short break will be for me to literally run outside and, if possible (it's often cloudy here) see if I can glimpse the eclipse. If it aligns right I'll also just. Point my webcam to outside during this period lmao. Otherwise, we have Dark Deception. I've played the first chapter of this either on twitch or just with some friends (I don't remember which!) and it was a lot of fun (think first person pacman horror?). I have the whole game now, though! I'll replay the first chapter, not blind, but the rest will be new to me. I'll start Crow Country--but for sure we won't be beating this game on this stream. Though not as long as my longform-friday games, we'll still be checking it out weekly for at least a couple sessions. Then we'll play some Gartic Phone and Peak as a community! Friday, August 14, 2PM: @refundtheticket and I continue our dang danganronpa romp--we played a little late last stream but that means we got through the entire second trial and are ready to start a new, definitely normal day of high school!
