I figured the three of them have the same energy as "a teacher plus his two students who trauma dump/gossip with him." He's goofy and can joke around but overall a good adult to go to for advice or head.

Plus, I feel like Thunderhead is also a kid at heart type of person. He treats them like people but also allows for them to mess up and not get angry. They literally work in a field that has high stakes and a single mistake could get plenty of people killed. He would want to help them succeed best he could, especially since he's probably been on the receiving end of not-so-great teachers.

I also feel like Stratogale and Macroburst are the youngest heroes on our roster, like, they're adults, but not pre-frontal cortex fully functioning yet, type of adults. Aka College Kids [freshman]. Personally, I think it would be fun if they were only a year or two apart from one another with Macroburst being the slightly older one. Hence, they do slightly dumb shit like stick burger king crowns & cones over their heads.

In my head, Stratogale goes to Thunderhead more than Macroburst does. She has great figureheads to look up to like Elastigirl & Apogee, but sometimes, approaching those who are the biggest examples of what you should be, is hard. Thunderhead probably seems more down to earth, especially to children and/or young adults. He'd probably be more approachable and hands off with the situation, letting her learn from her mistakes but cheering her on the entire time.
