I wanted something poncho-like to throw over my shoulders when I get cold. I wanted it to have colour work, so I figured I could use a top down colour work yoke sweater pattern and just keep going instead of separating for the arms.
It worked very well and I'm very happy with it. It's comfy and cute and lighter than wearing a whole sweater.
Pattern is Choose Your Own Fungi by Sarah L Kelly.
Scarf made on KB 3/8" 80 peg loom with Wendy DK shade 'Natural' as the CC, all other colours are Women's Institute yarn. Crayon motif from Pacific knit monthly doodle.
Super happy with my new sweater. It's also my most fun knit in a long time.

Oh crap I never showed you guys what I made myself while laid out from pain before hysterectomy a few months ago!
No I do not have one single surface of my house which isn't covered in cat hair lol
This is actually my first attempt at stranded knitting! Turns out it's way easier than it looks. Also this pattern is free! This is maybe the coolest free pattern I've ever found

I've finished and blocked the body of my Oseberg tapestry sweater! Now I set sail for sleeve island...
Three WIPs to work on today… It’s too gloomy to knit the black tweedy part of my Lunenberg Pullover I think, so it’s brighter colors for the weather.
Edit: Finished the hat! There’s a break in the weather so a few rows of the sweater’s body will get done. The baby blanket isn’t feeling the love at the moment because it’s acrylic (sob, feels like knitting with fiberglass) but I will persevere!
