drew sings like under her breath a lot and when Vi hears her and recognizes the song, he’ll like join in and sometimes it turns into this dorky song party that even their pokemon join in on sometimes

I kinda remember talking about how if anyone thinks they’re in a relationship they like start doing ridiculous and over the top shit jokingly

I can see Vi being so hard to get to sleep because he loves the night sky and probably commonly takes night flights ((walking in night is another story. He’s always scared there’s something following them but up in the sky it’s like he’s free))

I can also see like Drew being hard to wake up in the morning. Like it takes her half an hour to be fully awake and functional and it takes Vi like 5 minutes to be functional and awake

They kinda have a system with each other. They each have their own places they go when they’re upset and they have a system to help each other if they stay out longer than usual and everything like that. Kinda two sides of the same coin

Drew plays piano, especially on like rainy days/nights. her favorite song to play is Original Resonance. On those days like a lot everyone in the house just kinda sits and listens cause it sounds BEAUTIFUL ((if it’s not a thunderstorm Vi will sit by the window and watch the rain fall while swaying slightly to the music))

Okay okay there was also this one time when they were going after a legendary right, well drew was, and something went TERRIBLY wrong and Vi was powerless to help as Drew was killed by the legendary that then fled. He broke down and was barely able to pull it together to carry her back home. Maxie and Archie thought she just tired herself out since she can be a fireball, but when Vi broke down again, screaming and hugging her close they both kinda realized and it was so shitty.

Vi blamed himself for that. For like 50 years he lived with guilt and some kinda shitty thoughts about himself because he always felt like he was the one who ultimately killed her. Some of Drew’s pokemon didn’t even trust him anymore ((Niran still trusted him; Azula didn’t))

The house was always too quiet after that. Everyone wanted and was expecting to hear Drew’s playing that was never there anymore. Stormy nights got even harder for Vi.

Vi at one point found the legendary again I think. He didn’t even battle it more like he screamed and yelled at it until Latios flew him away

When Maxie/Archie passed after the other did, it was actually the hardest for Vi because he didn’t really have anyone left to help him with the grief.

THIS HAS A HAPPY ENDING I PROMISE

They both caught Palkia and Dialga and Giratina right so they could turn back time but the reason they couldn’t right away was because a thing which probably isn’t pokeverse canon but it’s canon for us where it has to be at least 50 years before they can turn back time to the incident

When he finally was able to go back, he nearly tackled her before she went to engage the legendary and started sobbing and begging her not to go. She was like hella confused like “Vi wtf are you okay” but agreed not to go

When they got home after that, Vi asked her to play Original Resonance again and when like asked why he was like “it feels like it’s been forever since I last heard it”

For like a solid two months at LEAST Vi got panic attacks when Drew got out of hearing and sight range without telling him because he flashed back to when she died since he kept his memories

He still gets p bad anxiety when she’s gone longer than she says she will be ((the healing pokemon they have (happiny and two sylveons I think?? it’s harD TO KEEP TRACK OF OVER 200 POKEMON) help him the best they can in those moments))

He got nightmares about it too for so long and he kinda goes to Dialga when he gets them because the time pokemon remember while the others don’t so at least Dialga can understand and just be comfort ((Dialga is one of Vi’s (and my) favorites))

I don’t remember if Vi ever told Drew about what happened I think he tried to explain but she never like FULLY understood it but she understood enough to remind herself to tell him that she’ll be back and help him get back into his more normal swing ((tbh i don’t think he’d ever go back to the way he was before))

In short: Drew was killed by a legendary and while the time and space legendaries were able to reverse time to bring her back, it Fucked Up Vi.

Vi has like an ultimate goal to get like a whole team of shiny eevees and a shiny absol

When Vi caught his first Eevee he got like hella emotional and started crying when he was playing with her. He named her Amethyst

The same thing happened when he caught his absol, Pearl. (he caught her before Amethyst though (I SWEAR I DIDN’T PLAN THAT OUT THO IT KINDA HAPPENED) )

ok so Azula though she’s like a total ASS at first. Like she purposely picks fights and thinks she’s like The Shit and even makes fun of poor Mirage (i’ll tell you about her in a sec). Before she was friends with Drew’s Lopunny, Rose, but she kinda developed a superiority complex and stuff ((again if I remember correctly I mostly remember she was a total ass, though in time she does change)) because like Rose was able to try to keep her in check but after Rose was caught there was no one to counteract Azula and get her to chill so

Vi had started shiny hunting before Drew, but Drew found Azula first and Vi still hasn’t found a shiny eevee or a shiny absol. This kinda made him internally shut down/melt down because things weren’t going the way he planned it and it caused a lot of bad shit ((He hid for like 4 hours in a corner in Fortree, with only Amethyst and Pearl finding him. He gave them special collars with fidget toys to help him plus they’re both soft and petting them also helps him kinda start calming down. Hi shut down/melt down kinda caused a lot of bad feelings in Drew, especially since in those moments Vi needs to be alone and shut out the rest of the world so she felt helpless and wow not good (they got it all worked out though) ))

probably like half of the footage of shiny hunting that Drew has is just watching Vi yelling and angrily flapping his hands and Drew cheering him on and reminding him that his yelling is probably gonna scare them off

VI LOVES THE FORESTS. Fortree is EASILY his favorite city. The first time he got there, he spent like half an hour just walking back and forth on the little bridges they have because the sound was AMAZING. He hates cities though because of all the sensory input and people (he’ll only go if he HAS to and Drew is there so he can follow someone)

Conversely, Drew hates the forests, like literally they piss her off and it’s not a good time, but she loves the city. They can travel between regions and she goes to Luminose a lot to get new clothes and her hair done.

Vi has a Greninja named Leif who Rose is like HELLA into but Leif is like so oblivious (he’s also demirom so he not only didn’t realize Rose was flirting but also couldn’t return the affections until after they had a bond and connection and he did end up being romantically into her (i think we talk more about rose getting frustrated) )

Pearl and Ame also have a kinda complicated relationship. Pearl is like totally in love with Rose, and like Ame is both like “I realize you don’t have feelings for me so I’ll keep quiet” but also hella frustrated mostly because Pearl just gets herself hurt with the crush especially because Rose is like hella flirty and Pearl ends up ranting to Ame a lot and while Ame and Rose are friends it also leads to resentment like “can you like do something so that Pearl can start moving on and stop getting hurt every day this isn’t gOOD”. Pearl and Ame also didn’t get along at first because i’m su and pea-rlmethyst trash but they eventually come to understandings and become friends

OKAY OKAY LEMME TELL YOU ABOUT MIRAGE OKAY Mirage is Drew’s Milotic that she caught as a Feebas. As a Feebas, she got caught and released a LOT. People looked past her because she was ugly to them or they just wanted her to evolve because then she’d be beautiful to them. Then Drew comes around and catches her and is genuinely happy because she caught her, a feebas.

Drew gives all of her pokemon these pink ribbons and Mirage was so happy when she realized like, this was the trainer that was happy to have her as her.

HER AND PEARL HAVE THE BEST RELATIONSHIP OH MY GOD OK

Pearl kinda came from a similar place. Absols are the disaster pokemon, so Pearl was like avoided a lot because it’s said disaster follows her wherever she goes right. It kinda made her weary and put up barriers against other and against her like real emotions. Then Vi catches her and for the first time someone is crying happy tears because she’s there. It made her grow incredibly attached to him like if you didn’t know better you might think she was his starter.

When Mirage joined, Pearl was protective of her, and made sure that she felt welcome to their little family. It confused Mirage until Pearl explained that like “pokemon like us, we gotta stick together and watch out for each other, you know?”

They’re like BEST friends like if Drew and Vi are separate for a bit, when they come together they’re the first ones they let out of their pokeballs because they go like running to each other, all excited to be together again

When Mirage evolved, Pearl was SUPER excited. She as like jumping and yipping with joy and pride all around Mirage like Pearl might have been more excited than Mirage was to evolve. It was like hELLA cute.

At one point, Azula insulted Mirage (insulted her looks and stuff which REALLY hits home with Mirage) and Pearl, who wasn’t even standing near Azula at the time, literally bolted over and was ready to fuckin take Azula down because no one can talk to Mirage like that, not anymore and not in this family. LIke Azula knows fighting moves and everything but Pearl was ready to fuckin destroy her without a second thought because she hurt her best friend.

Drew is TERRIFIED of hypnos. Like, seeing one makes her go into a panic attack and it’s all like internal stuff and she is literally paralyzed like nothing can get through to her and she can’t move at all. They’re just the absolute worst for her it’s all bad.

ALSO AFTER ALL THE EVENTS IN ORAS, EVENTUALLY ARCHIE AND MAXIE BECAME FATHER FIGURES TO THEM SINCE BOTH OF THEIR DADS ARE AWAY SO OFTEN. THEY EVEN ALL HAVE A HOUSE TOGETHER BEHIND THE VOLCANO (it was a perfect mix between land and sea since it was close to the coast lmao)
