Found yet another one of my Lustria weirdos! Warlord Heket Snakeeater, who somehow turned out being one of the prettier ones.

In short the idea was an expedition of rats from a few clans got stranded in Lustria and branched off into three thrall clans (Glyder, Akatik, Ayral) after realizing that their in-coordination and infighting was rather quickly killing them off. Eventually they make contact with Skavendom (though their inability to come to a solid agreement on how to go about it made things take longer than it should've) but they stay in Lustria anyways. There's more but I dont feel like fishing that up right now XD

Lets start 2023 right, looking back at one of the last pieces I did in 2022. Nothing brings comfort like a little nostalgia, even if that nostalgia is only a couple weeks old. You will never know how difficult it was to draw this piece, believe me, but in the immortal words of Sam Raimi: "The harder it is to do, the easier it is to watch". You don't need me to say this, as you might imagine if you know me well, but my favorite part to draw of this piece was the feet armour. I don't see Skaven losing the use of their claws over some bulky human-thing design. Also the purity seals on the lance, those were pretty fun to draw as well, and the bolter.
