Ororo and T'Challa's divorce will always be contentious and I understand why because having them divorce in AvX of all places is the worst place for significant character development to occur but I have been obsessed with this sequence ever since I read it. The way it reveals their different ways of thinking and the ways they still love each other... T'Challa, a scientist, immediately trying to logically convince himself this is the best thing for Ororo in the long term, versus Ororo who sees this as her opportunity for love and a family taken away from her... ough 💔
