Can people please start listening to ACTUAL Latinos who are telling you 'Latinx' is problematic, erasing and americanising our culture? If an individual Latin American person would like this new term as their identifier, that is 100% okay and should be respected, but it shouldn't be used on us as a group. 'Latino' is gender neutral, and if you are still put off by it, just say Latin Americans. Please, enough is enough. Our language, Spanish, will not change for the sake of Americans, and this entitlement needs to stop. I am by far not the only Latino who feels this way, and in fact, the majority are also fed up with it. As I said before, if an individual wants that label, that's totally okay and should be respected. BUT! It shouldn't be used on us as a whole, as it, as I said before, erases our culture.
