The prefix homo, meaning 'same, the same, equal, like', and the end word 'phobia' meaning irrational fear, aversion, or horror towards something.

It's not a phobia.

People aren't scared; they're assholes. What does my love have to do with you? Who I choose to kiss, who I choose to remain with for the remainder of the time I have left on this planet does not concern you. Your 'phobia', which is really just hatred, does not justify killing homosexuals simply because of who they choose to kiss.
