Stonestuck. Yep, that’s right, what if Homestuck…but they were cave people? Except it’s only John who’s a cave person, everybody else is like, in a different time or something? Or atleast, that’s what the Logo has me to believe. And I have to believe that the premise isn’t just solely “what if Homestuck but Cave People” because otherwise how…would this be popular????????

(Also, because I can’t really care to write another essay, I shall be making “traditional” notes, AKA notes that don’t really care whether or not they are useful for understanding the fanadventure, or whatever I was doing the last time I made notes on a Fanadventure. Please enjoy.)

Note: I can’t read the opening section of this Fanadventure without reading it in Graham Stark’s Caveman impression. Help. (also, where is the Desert Bus Fanadventure? That’s…GOT to be a thing, right?)

Note: OH SHOOT WHAT’S THIS FLASH’S MUSIC WHY IS IT GROOVING AND MOVING.

Note: I thought the prose was a little bit confusing at first but now I realize that it’s part of this comic’s charm. It’s a little like how Homestuck varies it’s prose styles to sort of replicate the thinking process of the character that the reader is currently “being” but. Way more drastic. I like it.

Note: Ahhh. This is not a comic that is invested in trying to make characters seem “in character.” In fact, pratically each character’s quirks has basically be selected seemingly because that’s the funniest quirk they could possibly have. Rose’s character quirk is a Texas accent, something you would’ve thought would be Dave’s accent. But Dave is a literally knight, and thus speaks with thine and thou. So that’s the charm of the comic.

Note: Yeah this comic’s not taking itself remotely seriously, which is absolutely fine. It’s more than fine, since that’s a breath of fresh air after so many webcomics with ambitions to become YOUR NEXT OBBESSION. But it also knows, hey, sometimes, a story needs to present itself. This is literally the best course of action for a story that’s stupid but knows it’s stupid, is for it to suddenly and dramatically have a plot. I’m not joking. Literally that’s what happened in I Built A Boyfriend, and that one was SICK. Basically: if you wanna be stupid, that doesn’t mean you can’t care, and you should care, because the more you care, the more I feel like you care, and the more *I* care in response. Just something to keep in mind.

Note: Oh this has trolls, and trolls that speak like Dancestors, hmmm? Interesting…this comic’s way better than I thought it would be, honestly. I’m having a good time with it.

Note: I think the reason I like it is precisely BECAUSE the characters aren’t trying to be in character. It’s just like. Here’s a situation so that I can tell fun jokes. And then I go. Those jokes are pretty funny, sometimes. And that’s all a comic has to be, sometimes.
