I remember reading something about how pure cbd doesn’t actually work, because it doesn’t activate ur CB2 receptor on its own, you need to have thc mixed into to active the receptor to absorb the cbd
yeah this is true... each cannabinoid on its own doesn’t seem to do as much as they do together, pure THC won’t get you as high as whole-plant extracts... there’s a lot of research to be done on entourage effects & maybe the most effective painkiller will turn out to be some specific blend of CBD and CBN and THCA and whatever-the-fuck! As far as I know tho there’s CBD products with just enough THC to be therapeutic but not to get u high. But I can’t judge firsthand cuz there’s always THC in my system lmao
