Friday Thoughts
Two days in a row I woke up at 3am for no apparent reason. Was hoping to sleep in past 5am but it looks like my body had other ideas. I did not do anything crazy or stay up way to late last night. May try something different tonight to see if will allow me to sleep in. The only thing I can think is causing this is that I am not moving around as much on this mini vacation as I do on my days working. May go for a walk later to see if I can use some of the energy up.
The pedicure I got yesterday felt amazing and its so nice to have black painted toe nails again. I already scheduled my next appointment for a mani and pedi so I can have my hands looking good as well. I was talking to the nail tech about trying some claws when I can take a week off from work again. She said I may have to go with longer ones since my natural nails are already long. Which would make things fun for the few days I try the nails.
The sugaring went a lot better then I expected and was not as painful as waxing. Which was a good sign since I do want to keep getting it done. She only did enough of my chest so I can wear a tanktop without my chest hair showing. Which is exactly what I was looking for. Will be seeing how quickly my hair grows back and when I need to go back in again. May even try and do it myself in the future if I am going to keep doing it.
Was going to get some Dr Marten Jadons but ended up getting the burgundy 1460 classics instead. Already started my savings so I can get some Jadons around my birthday in July. I did get the yellow laces for my other Docs along with some yellow and brown laces for my new ones. Need to put the wonder balm on all my Docs today so I can keep the leather soft. May end up wearing my tie up Docs tomorrow when I go to the farmers market.
I may be getting a Dr Marten addiction with all the boots I keep getting. I need to find a job where I can wear them more since its been hard at my current job to wear them since its to hot for them. Will be having to get more of the wool Bombas socks soon with all the boots I keep getting. Which are amazing socks and they keep my feet from getting all torn up. I am going to need a savings account just for my Docs and socks.
Did reorganize my sock drawer and figured out all the different socks I have. I did find my one pair of thick boots socks which will work well when I am going to start breaking in my new pair of boots. May end up getting another pair of those socks when I need to order some more socks since I do need to order some as gifts. Yes I know its a little early to think about the Holidays but it will make things easier if I get everything early so I just need to get gift cards at the end.
Do need to help my brother take out his carpet today so he can lay some wood flooring. Hopefully it helps tire me out some because I need to sleep. You can tell how tired I am since I need to wear my reading glasses.
