discussing kaito's stigma following revelations in the newest episode
spoilers through ep 20
STIGMA REVEAL AAAAAAAAA
First of all. I would like to say. It is sooooo funny that his trigger word is basically "oopsie"
anyways!!
opsi is an anagram of ipos!
so as we kind of learned when alan's backstory was revealed, the demons have more to do with why they were summoned than a direct correlation to their abilities (but it does still vaguely tie in). alan wanted to know why his father was killed, he got a demon of murder and got crazy strength.
kaito, in his backstory, wished he could make his gram forget the shameful things he'd done so he could go visit. the demon is listed above as having the ability to make men "witty and valiant," and in a way, made kaito appear valiant by erasing his gram's memories of him
super fucking sad right
but at the same time we've seen kaito make some major steps forward into overcoming that fear and doing things despite being super scared. he fired his bow at the mirror in ep 14 (13? whatever, the masquerade) and then was able to locate the core for us in this episode. in a way, he is becoming more valiant by doing things despite being afraid
anyways i'll go update my big post now but this was super cool
