I have chosen this simple red background to symbolize contracting #HIV one year ago this weekend. I have learned a lot this year, re learning dive wonderful support and medical care, have remained #undetectable for 6 months and have researched all I can learn in this time. While all my closest friends, coworkers and family know about my status, many of you may not and I figure the next few weeks until September 1st, the day I was diagnosed, would be a good time to come out more, answer questions, educate those around me. I'm still myself, just one thing is different than before. #stigmaendshere (at San Francisco, California)
