A friend and her daughter unfortunately picked up this goldfinch fledgling on their way to school π¬. The birdlooks in really good condition and is alert and chipper, so I bet the parents were nearby feeding it until it would be able to fend for itself in a few days.
I arranged for it to go to an experienced wildlife rehabber and hope it'll live a good life, despite being mistakenly kidnapped by aliens β€οΈ
I edited this bird's face in order to match the colour of the poppies.
