Ingredients: 1 package quick-rise yeast. 1 cup warm milk. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon salt. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 1/4 teaspoon sea salt. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine warm milk and quick-rise yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add granulated sugar, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir to combine. Gradually add all-purpose flour and cocoa powder to the mixture, kneading until a smooth dough forms. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes. In a separate saucepan, melt 1/4 cup unsalted butter, then add brown sugar, heavy cream, and sea salt. Stir until smooth and caramelized. Remove the caramel from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the caramel mixture over it. Sprinkle semisweet chocolate chips evenly. Roll up the dough tightly and slice it into 12 buns. Place the buns in a greased baking dish and cover. Let them rise for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and bake the buns for 20-25 minutes, or until they're golden brown.
