Stiles is already happy—especially after having a gorgeous time entertaining himself, despite Scott’s call—when he receives Derek’s text during class.

Derek’s neutral face emoji reply almost gets Stiles in trouble.

True. Peter would withhold just to be dramatic.

And amazing.

Stiles's phone ringing wakes him—which rarely happens—so he answers even though he'd rather return to his dream.

​“Make it quick. I had a first-class seat on the plane to happy time, Scott. Derek was all growly and bitey. You know I love that.”

“Dude, TMI.”

“That's funny, man, with everything I know about you and Allison.”

“Fine. Isaac called. He and Cora found some hunters while on patrol.”

“Why didn't they call… never mind, tell Isaac to take them to Derek's loft.”

“Um.”

“What? My boxers are already sticking like I dipped them in adhesive, man.”

Derek’s in the middle of biting his mate’s neck, enjoying Stiles’s ensuing moan, when his phone’s insistent vibrating callously wakes him up.

He usually doesn’t dream—or has nightmares—and the one time…

He answers it without looking.

“What, Stiles.”

“Oh? Did I wake you from a good dream? Do you need to change your sheets before we talk?”

Oh, great. It’s his sister.

“Really.”

Derek hopes his tone indicates how juvenile he finds the comment.

“If the soiled sheets fit.”

He’d give Cora the finger if he could; instead, he can only sigh his displeasure.

Stiles is very confused when he gets to school to see it decorated—he needs to work on balancing pack business and school life better.

He asks Scott, who’s already at their lockers.

“Dude, why is everything so festive?”

“Did you forget?”

Stiles shrugs.

“They announced a silent auction to fundraise for repairs. Coach is having the team do a car wash to sell tickets.”

“Huh.”

So that’s what Coach was rambling about.

Stiles has an excellent idea, undoubtedly influenced by just thinking about a dripping wet Derek.

“Do you think Coach would allow Derek to help?”

Scott elbows him.
