Finally blocked this beauty! Love knitting Westknits shawls. The patterns are very clear and easy to follow and they‘re filled with fun techniques😁🧡.
Almost happy that I‘m sick. Even though its hot, I still get to wear my pretty new shawl.
This is their GoGoDynamo shawl, it was last years MKAL. The construction was really interesting, instead of starting at the center, the pattern had you start halfway. Made it a super fun journey and seeing the whole thing come together was incredibly satisfying.
A few humble beginnings beside some wips much further along
My LYS was having a spring sale today, and I had a GC from the holidays I've been holding.
Got some Bamboo Pop Sock yarn to make Stephen West's Fragmentation Shawl. I think it'll be very fun and summery.
This was the first shawl I made, I used Drops Alaska yarns in three different shades of grey (as you can clearly see) and the pattern is the Birdwing shawl by Stephen West. It’s one of his older designs before his current style of chaoticness, I think it was around the time he began experimenting with more unusual elements and shapes in his patterns, it’s from a decade ago. I adore this shawl and honestly wouldn’t mind knitting a second one but with rainbow colours, make it into a pride flag project perhaps?

the shawl so far, and how far i have left with these cables. i grow weary.
I knit my BiL sports ball socks! PSV Eindhoven football team fan socks, to be specific.
Pattern is Stephen West's Color Poportunity Socks and the yarn is Lang Yarns Jawoll Superwash 75/25 in colors
1 White
4 Black
150 Gokd
60 Red
1 skein of each is more than enough to make 1 pair in size 3.
The last 2 pics are the care tag I designed and the team the socks are meant to represent.
BiL honestly thought they were real merch when he unwrapped them. Probably because of the tag, but I'll take it 😅
Knitting is apparently trending so i feel the urge to share with you the fact I knit a lot, and apparently rarely take photos of my finished pieces only WIPs (i finish things, i swear…)
